M. Banjac, the Mayor of Ifsnitza (Serbia), bas been sentenced to 12 Tears, penal servitude on a charge of high treason. He was alleged «ter aha to have sheltered the assassins of the lata Arfchduko Ferdinand. At Worcester Police Court Mr. Francis ordered Alfred Mortimer, hairdresser, W nav a fine of .£IOO, or to go to prison for three months in default, for selling intoxicating liquor to soldiers and other* without a license.
