Clerk) statins that the above -mentioned John Smith Wallace has not been heard of for over seven years, and craving the Court to find that the said John Smith Wallace has disappeared and to find that the date on which he was last known to be alive was not later than the 31st day of December. 1909, and to find that he shall be presumed to have died exactly seven years after that date, namely, the 31st day of December, 1916. and that following UDon the presentment of that Petition, t Lord Anderson has pronounced an Order appointing the Petition to be intimated by advertisement twice at the interval of a week in this newspaper, and appointing nil parties interested to lodge answers to the said Petition if so advised on or before 4th SEPTEMBER, 1917, of all of which intimation is hereby made.
