The raw leaf which Great Britain and Australia use for the manufacture of their smoking tobaccos is almost entirely of American origin, and liugo sums of money go annually to the U.S.A. Why not keep that monoy within our own country and Empire. Now that N.SS. 'lias its own tobacco industry ivc need import foreign brands 110 longer. Gold Pouch, N.Z.-grown tobacco excels all others in mildness and flavour, it contains far less nicotino, and is thus less harmful. Support local industries that give profitable employment to our own folk, and benefit our population. But Gold Pouch is not only bettor and purer than the foreign article, it is more economical, too, 2Joz.— as against 13oz—for Is. Cigarette smokers should use N.Z.-grown "Three Diamonds" tobacco, far suporior to tho imported brands— for Is.—Advt.
