Wanganui, July 25. At the Ala»istrate's Court to-day WiL liam Evan. Robert -Ryan, and Davm Ross we're charged with loitering for purposes of hetting. Tho prosecution relied on the evidence of two plain clothes constables who had watched tho movements of (he three defendants at the tune of the Wanganui races in May last, ine defence was a denial of the charges. I he. Magistrate reserved his decision, and similar charges against n number of other men were adjourned.
