MEETING OV TI7.E COMMITTEE. A meeting of the committees of the Football Association was hold Inst evening iu tho Y.11.C.A. rooms, 3lr. A. E. Wells presiding.' Mr. C. P Skorrett' wrote, accepting Uio position of president of tho iissociation. The Town Clerk, in reply to the request of the committee for ;i supply of trees for planting tho association's grounds at South Kilbirnie, wrote, DSking tho committee to consult with the Town Bolt Forester, Mr. Hill, as to tho class of treos most suitable for the locality,] and arrange with'him to bo supplied with such as can bo spared from the. corporation nurseries. The letter was received and the corporation thanked for its generous ofi'cr. Mr. A. Kyle tendered his resignation as a member of tho Eeferees' Association on account of his going into camp to join (he artillery reinforcements: The referee of the AVadestown-St. Peter's match had written, complaining of (lio unsportsmanlike conduct of the Wadestown team, and the captain of the team was called upon to give an explanation. The captain stated that on two or three oecsions rude remarks were passed 'Tespeetine tho referee owing to some i nf his decisions, and the team was at fault to that extent.' The captain further admitteilthat lie himself had passed some remarks., and was cnuthnod by the referee. | 'Tho cbinmittce, after fully considering tho matter, decided to severely censure tho Wadestown team, and to request that a written apology he sent in to the association. This decision was communicated to the team. .The captain assured tho committee that the Wadestown team would give no further cause for complaint. .fixtures .'and grounds for Saturday: Third Grade.—Karori v.
