Messrs. Dalgoty and Company. Limited. Ma.stertou, report, having held their fortnightly sale at Martinborough on Thurs-; day, when there Tvas a large attendance anil a big entry of cattle, but a. very small otto of sheep. Competition was fail? and a- good clearance was made at. the following prices:—Sheep: (store ewes, 19s, 9d. Cattle: Fat, cows, £9 15s. to £9 175.; cows and calves. £9 10s.: store cows, £6 19s. to £7 Bs.; empty heifers, £6 65.: cull cows, £5 15s. to £4 ss. Messrs. Wright. Stephenson, fltid Co., Ltd.. Pahiatua, report having held a. successful sale on Monday for Mr. O. Sonntag, of Makomako. In the lino of 21 cows offered there were five aged cows, which realised from £8 to £8 10s., the balance making the satisfactory averago of £10 12s. Competition was very keen for all tho dry stock offered, and wc cleared everything submitted at exceptionally good prices. Sales were effected as follows:—Dairy cows, close to profit, £lt 17s. 6d., £12 2s. 6d., £12 55., to £14 2s. 6d.; September and October calvers, £9 10s., £10, £10 10s., £11. to £11 10s.; aged cows. £S. £8 5s to £8 10s.: backward springing heifers, £S 10s.; eighteen-month steers, £10 35.-; ilfteen-month heifers. £7 55.; fifteen-month Jersey cross bull, £6 10s.; breeding sow, £4 15s.
