P.L.L. MEMBERS NOT TO ENCOURAGE RECRUITING. (Rec. July 24, 5.5 p.m.) ■> Melbourne, July 23. The Trades Hall Council lias passed a resolution requesting tlie unions to demonstrate in opposition to the present system of economic oonscription, and the Central Executive of the P.L.L. has been asked to direct that no Labour representatives in the Federal or State Parliaments shall take the platform to encourage recruiting.—Press Assn.
