STATE OF WAR PROCLAIMED AT VALENCIA STRIKE DISORDERS LEAD TO BLOODSHED 1 Madrid, July 22. A. state of war has been proclaimed at Valencia. The strike troubles are serious, and there has fceon bloodshed. I'ood distribution, tho tramways, mid the issue of newspapers have been stopped. There wero violent disturbances in the workiug-elass quarters. The gendarmerie intervened, and were attacked from balconies and windows. The troops restored order.—Reuter.
