Y.M.C.A. WELCOME
A welcome home to Messrs. H. M» Smeeton, hon. T.M.C.A. Commissioner, and Mr. A. Varney. supervising secretary, who has just returned from Ensland and from the front in Franco, is to he (riven at the Town Hall on Thursday evening. The chair will be occupied by" Sir James Allen. Messrs. Varney and Smeeton will tell, the story of their experiences with our boys,in England and France, illustrating the stories with niovinj pictures and lantern slides, which will depict actual war conditions. A. special collection is to be taken up in aid of the Countess of Liverpool's Christmas Plum Piidding Fund.
