CRIPPLED SOLDIERS
HOW TO HELP THEM: Long lists of New Zealand casualties appear with painful frequency r.lmost daily now, making the duty of every person to help in the , establishment of the Crippled Soldiers' Hostel the more imperative. When the war heroes, who have been maimed in fighting our battles, return to the land they left fit in physique, there should at least he prepared a home for them as a our gratitude for services rendered. With this in view, the attention of readers is again directed to the particulars ndTcrtised in this issue of an art union to be held to raise funds for the establishment of a hostel for crippled Fokliers in a central position in Wellington. 'A sum of ,£IO,OOO at least is required for this object. It is a big sum cf money to raise by sixpenny tickets, therefore it behoves every person in the Dominion to help.
