LECTURE BY MR. C. J. PARR

—4 Under tlio auspices of tlio Wellington Branch of the Navy League, Mr. C. J. Parr, C.M.G., M.P., will deliver a lecture at the' Town Hall (Concert Chamber) to-night. Tho lecturer will describo his visit as a New Zealand delegate to the Grand Fleet in the North Sea, and will give sketches of the great Admirals Sir .lohn Jellicoe, Sir David Beatty, and Sir Edward Sturdee. Mr. Parr has already delivered this lecturo in all the other principal centres to enthusiastic audiences, and his description of the great British Fleet is described as thrilling and instructive. The lecturer will conclude with a description of a Zeppelin air raid over London which he witnessed in September of last year, and in the course, of this will describe London in war time. The proceeds are to .l>e devoted to the Navy League Ladies' Auxiliary.
