DULL AND MISTY
Dull and misty weather, with heavy rain in many parts and snow on the higher levels, and increasing northerlies and westerlies, are to be expected says the official forecast of the Meteorological Department. Yesterday in Wellington and its neighbourhood was fairly fine for the "renter part of tho day. The 6fcy grew threatening in the afternoon and ram fell at intervals. The barometer is still very low everywhere, and fell f&st m tlio north yesterday.
