SUPREME COURT .DISPUTE ABOUT A WILL. His Honour the Cliicf Justice Sir m Stout yesterday heard a claim by Mrs-. »!L C " Geo- Wa 'Bon, of Wellington, against Albert William Collett, of Daimevirk'e. coach-builder, lor an alleged dubt of £250. Joined with Collett as defendants were Plaintiff's husband (Stephen Ceo. Watson), as executor of the will of the late Peter hmitli, of Lower Hutt. and the Anglican Boys Homo Society. Plaintiff allotted lliat defendant Collett borrowed £250 from Smith, who recently died at Lower Hutt. Smith handed an acknowledgment of the debt, signed by bnutli, to Mrs. Watson about six months before he died, and cave instructions Hint Bho should retain it in return for her services in nursinc and other attentions to Smith. Defendant Collett claimed that, deceased lind forgiven him tho debt. The AncH' can Boys' Home defended, as being interested in the residuary estate under tho will of deceased. Mr. A. Gray, K. 0.. with him Sir. D. H. Boggard, appeared for plaintiff. Mr. B. V. Bunny for the executor." Mr. A. W. Blair for Collett, and Mr. T. Young for the Boys' Home. Judgment was reserved.
