SHEEP CENSUS IN NEW SOUTH WALES
Sydney, July 17. The New South Wales sheep statistics show that the number of ewes in the State is 17,793,000, of. which 12,414.000 were mated. Lambs dropped totalled 9,248,000, and probable markings will be 7.779,000. The number of sheep in the State decreased from 46,202,578 in 1909 to 32,600,729 in 1916. This year's lambs incrensed by over two million.—Press Assn.
