Timaru and Oamaru in August. Application has been made to the Mm- . ister of Agriculture to have the price (f •flour readjusted, the present price in Auckland being XIG, and in Canterbury .£ls per ton, f.o.b. At the price that tho Australian wheat is being sold at flour can bo- made in Auckland at a profit, and in Canterbury will be made , at a loss. . Oats are meeting with good inquiry,, but they aTe \evy scarce, and holders are asking high prices. Tho potato market is still very dull, and there is no change to note.
