ROUGH TIME FOR ANTIMILITARISTS
NEW ZEALANDERS PARTICIPATE IN A DEMONSTRATION. (Roc. July 17, 9.25 p.m.) London, July IG. in tho House of Commons, replying to Mr. Philip Snowdon, Sir George Cavo (Home Secretary) stated that a crowd, which inoluded Now Zealanders, attacked a party of conscientious objectors who wero going to work at Brockenhurst on July i). They pelted tho objectors with turf, uud threw two into tho river. No one was seriously hurt. Their property, most of it belonging to tho Government, was flung into the river. The military police were present, but wore not strong eapjrgh, to deal with iho affair, Officers
