At. tho meeting of the Jfasterton A. and P. Association on Saturday last, tlio retiring president (Jlr. Q. Donald). expressed his thanks to the commiltco for Hid valuablo assistance rendered liim during tho two years he had been president. Ho stated that lie believed it to lie the unanimous wish of tlio committee that Mr. G. F. Vallanco should he the jiext president. (Applause.) Jlr. Vallanco stated that ho was not anxious fnv office; but in face of the sentiments expressed lie could hardly refuso tho rcijuest. (Applause.)
