The dispute botwoen tho Military Servioo Board an<l Warden Hutchison, following tho latter's objection to the remarks of tho chairman (Mr. Evans) in favour of granting protection to a. miner at Kanieri, was advanced ii stage this afternoon. Tho warden had granted six months' protection, but tho Military Service Board considered the period totally inadequate, ami had fuTthor adjourned the hearing. To-day tho board, empowered by tho recent regulation, granted protection for tho period of tho war ami twelve months after. The appellant was ordered to go to camp in August.
