Sir.—l notice that a, deputation of thrashing mill-owners has waited on the Minister of Munitions, and Biated there is a sn-ioiiß shortage of skilled ni<>n for thrashing mills. ■ I had two seasons for mills, and cannot remember any particularly skilled men ueine required except Ihe oiisriiwnlrivor and liaiiil-cnttcr, vlio was supposed to attend lo the combine.
