Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Mastcrton. report having held a successful re-openiuc sale in their Taratahi ualeyarda on Monday. There was a Rood yarding of both sheep and cattle, comprising 1600 sheen and 71 cattle, of which 1200 sheep and 5» cattle were sold. Competition was sood. and the following prices were realised:— Sheep: Forward wethers. 335.; fat owes. 29s 'lid. to 30s. 6d.; fat hoggets, b.f., 235. to 245.; 4-year breediuß ewes to Roniney rams and Southdown, 335.
