Bidivill),' with tho assistance of other local ladies, had tho stage tastefully decorated with flowers and plants, and tho opening mnrch by tho orchestra greeted a crowded house. News has been received by cablegram of the marriage in Ergland of Sergeant Douglns B. third eon of the late Mr. J. J. Mackersey, of Hawke's Bay, and of Mrs. Maciersey, formerly of Mastorton, but now of Wellington.
