FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications arc for moderate to strong south-westerly winds, veering to northerly shortly. Expect changeable and showery conditions, especially in northern and southernmost districts. Barometer unsteady, with a Jailing tendency everywhere soon. . The barometer has a rising tendency, and. south-westerly winds have prevailed with squally and showery conditions in the far north, but cool and fair to cloudy weather elsewhere. D. 0.
