Fat cattle ■ were firmer, and fat sheep showed an advance at the opening, but towards tho end of the sale eased off again. Thero was a good demand for storo sheep and no change in fat lambs. Store cattle were practically, unsaleable at the prices asked. Fat pigs were in keen demand, and stores were easier.

Store sheep: Two-tooth ewes, to 335.; four and six-tooth ewes, to 255.; six and eight-tooth ewes, 275. to 445. 7<1.; s.ni. ewes, 245. 7d. to 355. Gd.; two and fourtooth wethers, to 315.; four and six-tooth wethers, 2?s. 9d. to 325. 6d.; ewe lambs, 225. 3d. to 275.; wether lambs, 235. lOd. to 255.; m.s. lambs, 15s. to 28s.

Fat lambs: Extra prime, to 385.; prime, 28s. to 315.; medium, 255. to 275. 6d. ; lighter sorts, 235.' 3d. to 245. 6d.
