MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING. The Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association met last evening, Mr. A. E. Wells presiding. '■ Several of the schools wrote agreeing to play two matches a week for a couple of weeks to make up arrears. There were only two schools which did not ajireo to the proposition, and these schoolß are to be approached, and it is hoped that the extra games will start no'xt wcel. Regarding the playing of a game during the school holidays at Christohurch, the Canterbury Association Committee wrote asking for further information, and the matter is at present in abeyance pending the roply from Canterbury, i ' A rather awkward position arose ' regarding the protest last week from Thorndon fourth grade regarding their match with Empire on June 30. The father of the boy, who was 6tatcd as playing for Empire when over age . for the fourth grade, wrote certifying that the boy was born in Augußt, 1900, and two of the committee on visiting the Te Aro School found him onrolled as having been born on tho same date, 1901, both dates making him below tho agG limit. A motion was moved that on the evidence before the committee tho protest ho dismissed. Ab an amendment Mr. A. Williams moved: "That the matter be held over for a month to give Thorndon time to procure a birth, certificate from Australia." After considerable discussion for and against ,the amendment, it was carried by five votes to three. AMENDED FIXTURES. 'Fixtures as drawn for last week will bo played with the following alterations:— Third Grade—Y.M.O.A. v. Wadestown, transferred from Newtown Park to Association Park; refereo, Mr. W. Gibson. Fourth Grade.—Thorndon v. Institute B, transferred from Kelburn Park to Association Park; refereo, Mr. 0. J. Ward. Fifth B ■ Grade—lnstitute B v. St. Thomas's, transferred from Association Park to Newtown Park; referee Mr. E. Aitchison. Fifth B Grade-Institute A. v. Stars, transferred from Association Park to Kelburn Park, 3 p.m.: referee, Mr. V. Asllll. Sixth A Grade.—Maris't N. v. Marist T Association Park; referee, iMr. D. Scott. It is the intention of the committee to make a chargo of 6d. admission to Association Park in future.
