BURGLARS IN CHRISTCHURCH
SEVERAL BUSINESS PLACES ENTERED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, July 11. Burglare have been very active in Christchurch of late. The premises of M'Clatchio and Co., Hereford Street, have been entered;" and the offico lansacked. The cash tills were found to be emptv, however, and the intruders then turned their attention to the offices of Kinsey and Co., in the same buildin?, but tho search for money was fruitless. The visitors evidently laboured under the delusion that they were sure of a "haul" in M'Clntchie's premises, for they entered the office at the firm's coal siding in Jfoorhouse Avenue the same night, but''they were again disappointed. These attempts, which were followed bv iv similar one at the High Street Post Office, show that someone, presumably an amateur, is displaying much activity at present.
