The quarterly meeting of the Wellington South Jtethodist Circuit was held on Monday evening, the Rev. E. Drake occupying tho chair. The Eevs. J. Richards and J. Orcwos, with about twenty officials, were present. Membership returns showed 429 senior members, an increaso of 6, and 149 junior members, an increase of 11. The reports from the seven Sunday schools wero regarded as satisfactory. It was stated that a, Sunday School Teachers and Young People's Committee for the circuit .had been formed, with Jtr. A. Parker as secretary. Arrangements were made for collections tor home and foreign missions, and tor the militarv camps and soldiers' comforts funds. The total income for the quarter was reported as £233, leaving a credit balance of £10 17s. 2d. above current expenses. A special voto of appreciation of the work of the ministers—tho Revs. E. Drake and J. Richards—and of satisfaction in the work done was passed. The meeting closed in the usual way.
