a ■ By Telegraph—Press Association. - Woodville, July 10. The No. 2 Military Appeal Board eat, here to-day. Mr. J. W. Poynter, S;Jl.,| presided. ' • Charles Connor, farmer, Eketahuna, applied for an extension of time. Leave, was granted till October 14. The appeals of Sydney Baker, farmer, Waitahora; George Edwards, farmer, Rua Boa; and John Mountfort, fanner, Mangarawa, were adjourned for further inquiries. In the case of Cyril Hunter, sheepfarmer, Akitio, leave was recommended until September 30. The appeal of William Thomas, blacksmith, Porangaliau, .was adjourned foi further inquiries. Appeals by James Bartlett, saddkr, Norsewood; Jack EUingham, 'farmer;Horokea; Ernest Best, farmer, Kiritaki; Andrew Porteous, farmer, 'Waipatiki; David Foster, farmer, Ballance, were adjourned sine die,-to bo reviewed before tho First Division is' exhausted. _ There was no appearance of Frederick Wliibley, Kiritaki; and John' J. Little, Dantievirke, and tbeir appeals were dismissed.

The appeals of Carey Strangman, Oririgi,' and Frank Feirband, Tataranioa. were, withdrawn.

Leave was granted 'William Stewart, dairy farmer, Konini, to- July 25. Charles Gibson, farmer, Maharahara, tc September 19. and Arthur Green, Waipukurau, to October 14.

The appeal of William Peters, Hamua, was allowed under section 18 of the Military Service Act.

In tho case of Cyril Robinson. Noise wood, leave was recommended lo August 22.

Alfred Schaare, Makotuku, was giver leave until August 22.
