FIERCELY CONTESTED BY-ELECTION
LATE MAJOR REDMOND'S SEAT. London, July 9. The Ennis (County Clare) by-election will be held on Tuesday to elect a successor to the late Major Redmond. A fierce electoral struggle is proceeding — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SINN FEIN TREASON. London, July 9. The Sinn Feiners are openly advocating an Irish Kepublic, saying that if Ulster will not acquiesce, Ulster must go under. They also advocate the destruction of the Nationalist Party, and express a wish that Germany will be successful.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
