Pasitch (the Serbian Pre» mier), stated that community of interests between Serbia and Greece.was the surest guarantee of the peace and prosperity of the Balkans. Greece had placed in the forefront the faithful eiecution of her alliance with Serbia, and would prove to tne civilised world that she was not to be included among the nations which hold that treaties are but scraps of paper.—Ans.-N.Z.
