HIGHER EDUCATION FOR OVERSEAS SOLDIERS. (Rec. July 5, 10.45 p.m.) London, Jury 4. Lord Selborno presided at a meeting at the Rhodes Trust Office at which Sir Thomas Mackenzie (High Commissioner for New Zealand) attended—held to consider a scheme to provide for a year's intensive university training for overseas soldiers so desiring. . The scheme also contemplates provision for those desiring technical instruction.—Aus.-N,Z. Cable Assn.
