BALSILLIE'S SCHEME TRIED BY . STATISTICS. .' Melbourne, July 5. , Mr'. W. A. Watt (Minister of Works) states that comparisons made and" data collected over fifteen and sixteen years indicate that Balsillio's scheme .induced an increased rainfall of between fifty and seventy per cent, in the Bookalloo area. The Jederal Government proposes to erect plants in Victoria and New South Wales grazing and wheat areas.—Press Assn.
