508 IN AUSTRALIA. Sydney, July 2. It is officially stated that thero were 508 industrial disputes in Australia last year The total of working days lost was 1,678,930, and the loss in wages ■ £%7,m. At the end of 1916 the members of trade unions unemployed were 6 7 per cent., compared with 11 per cent, nt the end of 1914.—Press Association.
