"BABY WEEK"

Mrs. Okey (K'ew Plymouth) has como to Wellington for the eession.
Mr. Vernon Reed, M.P., and Mrs. Reed left Auckland' at the end of last week for Wellington.
Mrs. Vallance' (Masterlon) left Napier .it the end of last w.eek on-her return lo the Wairarapa.
Mrs. Hay ward, who Has been visiting Napier, left on Saturday on lier return to the Hutt.
At the meeting of tho Countess of Liverpool Fund Committee, held at tho Town Hall yesterday morning, pleasure at tho Teturn of Mrs. Massey and Lady "Ward was expressed, and a motion of congratulation at . their safe return passed by members. ■
A social evening was held at Godber's Eoome on Saturday,, the occasion being the twenty-first birthday of Mr. Cyril I'. Goodiods. Progressive euchre was the principal attraction for the-evening, but a little- alter 11 o'clock music commenced and supper was served. Tho evening's prizes wero won by tho Misses Smedley, Aston and Anderson. Mr. Goodreds received many useful presents from his guests. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. N. S.
