Mr. Mace comes hero under tiio auspices of tho' peoplo known tfi tho Brethren, and he has lately conducted a successful mission in Auckland. Air. Jlace is a son of the once- famous pugilist .lorn Ma.ee. and he liar, inherited his father's lithe frame and vigorous temperamenl. The. hall was quite tilled for his mooting last evening. Other meetings will bo addressed by Mr. Maco on Tuesday and Thursday of this week.
