BRITISH SOLDIERS AND SAILORS
LARGE INCREASE IN. PAY RECOMMENDED, (Rec. July 1, 1.55 p.m.) j London, June 29. The executive of Transport Workers' Union has recommended the Government to, grant an immediate increase of 200 per cent, in the pay of soldiers and sailors, also to supply sailors with clothing at pre-war rates.—Aus.-N.Z.
