The highest price was paid for Constable's "Salisbury Cathedral," which brought .£6510. "On the Stour," by the same painter, sold for JC6300, and his thirteen pictures realised £21,5" 10s. For a woodland scene by J. Crome £5505 was naid, and JJS4GO for .George Jlorland's Benevolent Sportsman." Tur-i nor's "Walton. Bridges" brought £3675. I Other high prices were: Constable's "View of Hampstoad," .£1995, and "Ponds at Hampstead Heath," JJ2BS7 10s.; Morland's "Boys Bathing," .£2625; "Boys Skating," .£1470,- Vincent's 1 "Greenwich: Hospital," .£13(55; and a much-discuvsed view of Paris, by E.
