(The City Engineer ostimatee tho cost of tho work at J250.) "That tho City Engineer be authorised to proceed with the construction of a relieving storm-water drain from Tory Street to Taranaki Streot, as recommended, in order fo minimise tho storm., water difficulty t\\nios t' nie of exceptionill storm. "Thai; tlio City Engineer bo instructed lo make provision as Boon as possible for Iho construction, of a storm-water culvert from Mein Street to Eiddiford Streot, estimated to cost .£3300." Tho recommendations wore adopted.
