BIG OCEAN BOMB PLOT LAID BARE

Some of tho explosives, are disguised as coal briquettes, and it has been suggested that theso were intended to be placed on board ships. This would explain the mysterious losses o£ Norwegian vessels. Owing to the excitement and rumours caused by the discovery, tho Government issued a communique stating that great quantities of explosives had been seized and several foreigners arrested. Full details are promised when investigations havo been completed. The "Tidens Tegn" states that three Finns and the German Baron Ton Hautenfels have been arrested, and a large quantity of most dangerous explosives seized.
