FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present, indications are for variablo breezes, with modorato to strong southorlies predominating. Erpcct cold and changeable weather generaUy, wiVli scattered showers. Barometer unsteady with a rising tendency everywhere soon. Considerable rainfall was experienced during 'Saturday night and Sunday over the North Island and in the north-east districts of tho South, with high easterly and south-easterly winds prevailing generally. The cyclonio disturbance passed in tho north during Sunday, and conditions have moderated since. D. 0. BATES, Director.
