GREEN PEAS
Who likes nice young green peas? WhD doesnt? Surely they must be hard to nnd. Well, let's get on to the business ot growing them. Better get the ground, ready to sow as soon as the time comes. You want tho best of course. Wβ grow in New Zealand moro peas thau any firm south of tho Line—usually about 2000 acres per annum. These are all grown from our own specially selected, stocks, which are mostly hand-picked. Well, tliero is no better pea for first early in the world than Cooper's ".Richard Seddon." Sounds a tall order, doe 3 it not? It's true; and hundreds of our customers in all parts of tho world confirm it. Wo raised this variety from a single plant which was a wonderfully heavy cropper, having splendid dark' green pods crammed full of peas of delicious flavour. For a later variety and; for main crop sow Cooper's "The Aroha," which has immense pods often containing nine and ten peas of beautiful colour and flavour. For dry soils and hot districts Cooper's "Wellington" is particularly good. As wo mentioned recently, all Cooper's Seeds aro tested for growth by the New Zealand Department of Agriculture. Of oven more importance, however, is the quality of the strains of seeds. Weed seeds grow well—only too well!—so it is most important that you buy the best quality seeds that are to" be had. "Cheap" seeds are the poorest investment you can find. We want thousands of peonje in New Zealand to grow ihen , own vegetables this year—and enjoy it. If you start with tho "Seeds of Success"—Coopers Seeds—you will certainly be pleased. All the principal merchants and storekeepers stock them, Gs.—(By Arrangement.)
