SHORTER WORKING DAY
BALLOT ON FORTY-FOUR HOURS' WEEK. Sydney, June 22. The Labour Council has adopted the report of a committee appointed to consider a shorter working day. The committee recommended that unions should take a ballot on the adoption of a forty-four hours' week.—Press .Assn.
