London, June 21. Tho "Freeman's Journal" states that the nomination of four bishops to represent the Roman Catholics at tho Irish Convention has practically assured the assembling of tho convention. Tho nation will accept an agreement in which the bishops share.

William O'Brien, on bohnlf of the 'All-for-Ireland" Party, declines to participate in the convention, which lie declares will only inflame the Irish discontent. A small roimd-the-table conferenco would bo inoro helpful. Seventy Sinn Fein clubs have been formed in Ireland in the past fortnight. PERSONNEL OF UEMESEXTATIVES. (lU'c. Juno 23, 1.15 a.m.) London, June 22. The Irish Convention will possiblr moet in, tho beginning of July. The absence of the Sinn Feiners ami O'Brienites will reduce the numbers to ninety-four. The Ulster representatives are lord Londonderry, Sir George Clark, Colonel Robert Wallace, and Mr. H. T. Barrie, M.P. ■ The Nationalist representatives are Mr. John Redmond, Mr. J. Dillon, Mr. Joseph Devlin, Mr. CJaficy, and .Mr. Gwynn. The Roman Catholic representatives are the Bishops of Down, Gal way, Boss and Killaroc. The Church of Ireland representatives are the Archbishops of Armagh and Dublin, and of the Presbyterian Church the Moderator.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
