"WILL MR: WRIGHT BE REPLACED? Recently. Mr. W. Wright, of tho _Now Zealand J)airv Division, who had been representing New Zealand dairying interests in England, returned t> the Dominion. At the Dairy Conference here todav "the question was asked as to whether Mr Wright was to be replaced. It was then stated that Mr. Wright had returned for private reasons, and the Dairy Commissioner said that up to the present the Department had been unable to spare a man to fill tho vacancy. He hoped a good maa would be sent as soon as possible. ... Tho conference resolved -to urge the Government to send /someone without 1 "Remarks were made to tlie effect that the sularv attached to the position enouilil be increased; it was now inadequate. A delegate suggested that. the representative in England should visit New Zealand even- two years'to report. , Vr Wright said that was impracticable ' unless tho representative liad an understudy who could carry on in his absence.
