FRIESIAN ASSOCIATION.

ANNUAL MEETING. By Tolenrapn— Special Eeporter. Palmerston North; Juno 20. Tho annual meeting of the New Zealand Friesian Association was held tonight. Mr. J. BL Parkinson presided. The annual report said that considerable progress had been made during the year. The adoption of the report was moved by the president and seconded by Mr. Barton. Mr. Marchand'(Cardiff) thought the association had not done enough to promote semi-official testing. Out of their considerable revenue only .£IOO had been expended last year in this direction. The secretary said a fund was being built up with the idea of importing cattle from Holland when the war ended. The motion to adopt the report was carried. The following officers. were elected :— President, Mr. E. C. Banks (Mata Mata); vice-presidents, Messrs. C. C. BncHanil (Cambridge) and ft. Aitcheson (Kaitangata); treasurer. Mr. J. Liegins (Tol;o----maruV, sniditor, Mr. P. I-. Simm; council, Mr.- Leonard Troupe and one other"
