-In oilicial dispatch from East Africa slates that beginning on June 10 we operated on Liiuli with the object ot. clearing the enemy from Hie shores ot the estuary of Hie Luikeledi River. Warships assisted i.s, and we effected a surprise landing near Mrweku. AVe drove the Germans, who were mounted, witli a naval "un, towards Mtama, 23 miles to the south-west. Our patrols destroyed a food depot at Utigeri, 20 miles southwest of Kihva-Vns.'-N.Z. Cable-Assn.-Heu.ter.
