PRICE OF SUGAR
ADVANCE OP .£1 PER TON; Tho Government has for some -time through tho agency • of Uie Board, of Trade been in communication with the Colonial Sugar Heliuing Company with tho object of making a new agreement with the company regarding the wholesale price of sugar in this country. The existing agreement expires at the end of this month. It is now announced that a new agreement has been concluded with the company at an advance of .£1 per ton.
