CENSORSHIP REGULATION'S. The Postal Censorship notifies for the. information of persons who. correspond! with British and colonial, soldiers and| ,civilians now detained as prisoners of-1 war in enemy countries that -the regu-i lation published on pages iv, v, and rij of the Post and Telegraph Guide (red! lly-leaf) must be carefully observed, if! writers wish to be reasonably sure of the i letters reaching the addressees. Letters'; should not exceed two sides of a sheet; of uotepaper, and be clearly written.) Enclosures of any kind may entail delay. ] It cannot be too■ strongly impressed on., the friends of persons interned abroad j that postcards, entirely plain, will be; much more likely to reach the addressees; with reasonable promptitude than any] other -form of correspondence. Scenic; postcards should uot be used. All com-, innnications must contain the name and; address of tne sender (unless the sender be a member . of . the Expeditionary, Forces). The addresses of the communications should be very, careful y written as- directed in the Guide The use of. initials such as "N.Z.E.F.' for NewZealand Expeditionary Force should be avoided, and the words written out fully. Letters must,be left unsealed, but the flap of the envelope may be turned in, if the gum on the edge is not damped.
