FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY.' I'iesent indications are for high southwest to north-west winds, and cold, squally weather, with heavy showers generally. Barometer unsteady, with a rising tendency. Tho weathor has been unsettled and wet generally, and heavy rain has fallen, particularly about Cook Strait, during Saturday night, when electrical conditions were in evidence.
