Sir,—Very pleased to read E. J. iloore'a reply to my letter asking what had be-i 1 , come of the above league. I was uofcj aware it is purely a woman's orgaiusa-i'i Hon. Why is this so? Have wo no meat of influence patriotic ouough to take up, the work? I live many miles from Wel-i lington, and understood early last year! that delegates would visit ail towns in. i New Zealand to form branches of (he! league; we are still waiting .for thoso; delegates to come along, for our enemies'; are plentiful in the country districts a*; well as the cities. Jly advice to the j officers and committee of the New Zea-.j land Women's Anti-German League iss! That they should ask several hundred! men in Wellington to come' in, thon-i merge their league into the Anti-German ■ League, and use all their efforts to start' active branches in every town in the dominion. Now is the tiine to strike,! whilst every man and woman's heart is! filled with loathing at the vile decda be-i! ing dono in Enropo and elsewhere ly,! the dastards called Germans. \ The women can shame the men into acting; they/ know how to influence them to join,) Don't wait, the time- to succeed is •'Kow."—i am, etc, WILLING TO JOIN. ;
