A'Short eittimj of tho Magistrate's Court was held on Saturday, Mr. L. Cγ. Heid, S.M., being on the bench: For insobriety, four first offenders were convicted and discharged. A fine of 10s., in default three days imprisonment, was imposed on . Walter Hoivis. for using threatening behaviour in Molesworth Street so as to cause a breach of the peace. Charles Hanghey was sentenced to a month's imprisonment on a charge of beins an incorrigible rogue and vagabond, in that lie was found by night in enclosed premises in Clyde Quay. A reraantl to Wednesday was granted on the application of Chief Detective Boddam in the case against Percy Bernard Overend, who was charged with the theft of three rolls of duck valued ar M 55., -the property of William Wiggins and Co. Bail waa allowed in J25, and one surety of .£25.
